Read on to learn more about Sarah and her ManiMe gel nail art.
ManiMe: How did you get started in the nail industry?
Sarah: It became so pricey for me to regularly visit the nail salon, so I bought my own supplies and started doing them myself at home.
ManiMe: How did you develop your nail art style?
Sarah: At the start, I was heavily influenced by nail art that I found through Pinterest and Instagram's Explore Pages. Now, I found that experimentation and simply trying out certain designs is how I've come to find what I enjoy versus what designs aren't really my thing.
ManiMe: What are your favorite colors, textures, or techniques to use in your nail art?
Sarah: Pastel colors are my go-to, and I absolutely love doing any sort of abstract or swirl designs! They're so simple to do with a thin brush.
ManiMe: Where do you typically find inspiration?
Sarah: I am still a Pinterest girl. <3
ManiMe: What was the inspiration behind your Nailed the 90s Capsule gels?
Sarah: I love that recent trends are bringing back such retro and fun looks, which is what I've been going off of for my ManiMe nail art designs.
ManiMe: What is your favorite at-home manicure, pedicure, or nail care tip?
Sarah: Always use cuticle oil! Dry fingers and cuticles can ruin the look of pretty nails.
ManiMe: What’s your favorite 90s fashion or beauty trend?
Sarah: I love flared, colorful jeans!
ManiMe: What was your AOL Instant Messenger (AOL) or MySpace screen name?
Sarah: I genuinely cannot remember. 🤦♀️
